Appeals
If you feel as though your case was not handled properly and you did not obtain the justice that you deserve, you have the right to an appeal. This right must be handled in a timely way, however. In Illinois a notice of appeal must be filed within 30 days after the trial court procedures have ended.
Appeals are time consuming and require a great deal of research and writing and oral advocacy. I excel in these areas and if retained to pursue your appeal will work diligently to prepare the best appellate brief possible and argue your case before the appropriate appellate court with competence and conviction.
Remember, this is a time sensitive matter. Call me immediately if your matter was not concluded properly in the trial court. I will consider both civil and criminal appeals on your behalf, state or federal.
