SIU Code of Conduct

Universities have their own codes of student conduct and Southern Illinois University (SIU) is no different. Violations of the code may result in actions against the student and disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion. The sanctions that can be issued as a result of ‘complaints’ made against a student can haunt him/her for the rest of their lives.  Do not take these matters lightly.  Those involved in a code of conduct procedure or a disciplinary action should seek legal representation to protect their rights.
